Liam Gallagher attacks Edinburgh City Council at concert: "Where do I start with the fucking bastards?"

British singer Liam Gallagher (Oasis) lashed out at Edinburgh City Council this weekend after issuing a report saying the band's fans would be "rowdy" and "intoxicated" during their tour shows in the Scottish capital.
At the first of three shows planned at Edinburgh's Murrayfield stadium, the younger of the Gallagher brothers addressed the audience and said: "Wait a second, where do I start here with all the City Council bastards?"
In that sense, Liam recalled that in just three days, the band would bring in £1 billion (more than €1.15 billion) in profits to the city. "The money we're going to make is going to be shared with their posh and ugly friends. I'm still waiting for a damn apology," the Oasis frontman added, before the concert's nearly 70,000 spectators.
Liam Gallagher's comments come after the Scottish Sun revealed in June that Edinburgh authorities had dismissed the band's fans during security briefings ahead of Oasis concerts.
In the documents, officials said they anticipated "medium to high intoxication" and a "substantial increase in older fans" among concertgoers, which took place between August 8 and 12. "Middle-aged men occupy the most space. Please take this into account when calculating occupancy," they added.
Edinburgh also hosts its festival season, including the Fringe , at the time, and the city council said there was concern among street performers about "noisy" crowds and "the tone of the band" and some were considering not attending that weekend.
Gallagher had already criticized the words of the authorities of the Scottish capital in June: "To Edinburgh City Council, I have heard what you have said about the OASIS fans and, frankly, your attitude stinks. If I were one of you, I would leave the city that day," he wrote on the social network X.
